Test Engineer

Stellenbeschreibung:

Develop and build new Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test environments for software integration and testing
Continuously enhance test frameworks to automate test procedures
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
Integrate individual components and modules into complete airborne radio systems in close coordination with hardware and software developers
Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analyses together with hardware and software teams
Define test cases, create test procedures, and evaluate test results
Document results in close collaboration with hardware and software teams
Connect and automate measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers within test environments

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Experience in low-level/hardware-near software development and testing of complex systems (e.g., microcontrollers, SoCs, or RF/wireless technologies)
Solid knowledge of mobile communications, particularly data transmission, networks, and the ISO/OSI reference model
Ideally, experience in test automation and in developing test frameworks
Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker or Podman)
Good programming skills in C/C++ and experience with CMake
Confident with Linux and version control systems such as Git
Very good spoken and written German for communication with German-speaking customers.
