To strengthen our Trade Affairs team, we are looking for a dedicated colleague whose main focus will be on customs valuation and tariffing and, alongside the main task, also support all topics related to foreign trade.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing customs valuation and tariffing of our products in accordance to applicable customs regulations
  • Assessing of our products for license or authorization requirements
  • Maintaining and updating customs‑relevant material master data in SAP
  • Communicating with internal departments, especially Product Management, Purchasing, R&D and Sales
  • Supporting day‑to‑day business, including checking and releasing embargo and sanctions list screenings
  • Independently handling topics and projects within the Trade Affairs team
  • Supporting topics related to customs and foreign trade law
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of processes, digitalization and quality assurance
  • Technical or commercial degree (or equivalent qualification) with a focus on foreign trade and customs, or an equivalent qualification
  • Ideally knowledge of customs tariff classification and the "Electronic Customs Tariff" (EZT), alternatively, basic knowledge with a readiness to specialize
  • Practical experience in customs valuation and customs determination, or a willingness to acquire this expertise
  • Strong technical understanding of hardware and/or software such as but not limited to security and IT
  • Structured, diligent and reliable working style
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to argue and defend subject‑matter positions
  • Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Interest to work with complex regulatory topics
  • Very good German and good English skills
