Trainee Finance & Controlling

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide management with real decision-making foundations — clear, up-to-date and reliable.
• Analyze costs, budgets and variances, identify patterns, and work with the team to develop measures that have real impact.
• Actively contribute to the development of finance tools and data structures with the aim of simplifying processes and increasing transparency.
• Support cross-functional finance projects from concept to implementation — bringing structure and a focus on what matters.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, HR and external partners and present numbers so they are understood outside of Finance.

Requirements

• Degree: Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics or a comparable field.
• Mindset: Think in numbers and structures. Ask: What does this tell us — and what should we do as a result?
• Hands‑on: Do not wait for briefings. Form your own opinion and execute.
• Affinity for tools: Comfortable with new systems and quick to learn Finance tools, dashboarding solutions or ERP systems.
• Languages: Fluent in German and English.
