Traveling Project Controls Specialist – MEP Division

Develop, implement, and maintain project cost controls
Monitor, evaluate, and update project cost data against budgeted amounts
Generate project progress charts and cost reports
Support forecasting of time and cost problems using trending information
Develop and execute measurement systems to process, analyze, and identify improvements
Develop and update resource-loaded construction schedules
Verify scope changes and estimate costs using contract terms
Provide cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting for concrete construction projects
Track project expenses and assist project teams in managing project budgets
Travel to project sites as part of this project-based position

Requirements

At least an Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university in Business or Engineering
At least one year of jobsite construction experience
Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Preferred experience with Primavera Scheduling Software
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to perform required standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing
Must be able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Must have close vision
