When you join HOFFMANN EITLE, you become part of a firm that values not only professional excellence but also personal growth and community. We foster a supportive environment where your talents and ambitions can thrive, offering ample opportunities for career development. If you are passionate about intellectual property law and ready to make an impact in a collaborative and innovative setting, we invite you to help shape the future of intellectual property protection as part of our trusted and dynamic team of over 450 employees.
As a UK-qualified, and ideally European, Trademark Attorney, you will be responsible for managing and developing international trademark and design portfolios for a sophisticated national and international client base. Your responsibilities will also include filing and prosecuting trademark and design applications through to registration, as well as coordinating national filings worldwide in collaboration with our international network of associate attorneys. In addition, you will prepare and independently handle opposition, cancellation, and revocation proceedings. You will represent our clients' interests in contentious proceedings before trademark offices, coordinate disputes in foreign jurisdictions together with local counsel, and negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
As Trademark Attorney (f/m/d)
You have a strong knowledge of UK trademark law and, ideally, European trademark law. You have experience managing international trademark portfolios and are familiar with trademark clearance processes as well as the development and implementation of filing and protection strategies. You are experienced in handling international filing procedures and working closely with associate attorneys around the world.
As a Person
You have a meticulous and structured approach to your work, combined with strong analytical skills. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to interact confidently with clients, intellectual property offices, and colleagues alike. You enjoy working collaboratively, take ownership of your matters, and value working in an international environment.
