You can look forward to

• You analyse and underwrite reinsurance solutions across natural catastrophe and specialty lines
• You originate and execute parametric insurance solutions, taking ownership throughout the entire underwriting process
• You assess risks using data‑driven, model‑based and scenario‑based analyses while taking strategic objectives into account
• You build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and brokers in an international environment
• You review and manage reinsurance contracts and monitor market developments to contribute insights that strengthen Hannover Re’s position in the parametric insurance market

You come equipped with

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics or a comparable qualification with a strong quantitative focus
• Professional experience in reinsurance underwriting or modelling is desirable
• The ability or willingness to learn, to structure and assess reinsurance contracts using quantitative and solution‑oriented analyses
• Interest in parametric insurance solutions, data‑driven decision‑making and current market developments
• Business‑fluent English and conversational German for precise and audience‑appropriate communication
• Willingness to undertake occasional international business travel (approximately three to four trips per year)
• Ability to analyse complex situations in a structured manner and identify suitable solutions in a changing environment
