About the Role:

Identify and interpret insights from various data sources and communicate findings to management. Assist in underwriting strategy by optimizing risk-based profit & loss modeling, within proprietary lending platform. Includes developing reports based on performance data and helping to identify patterns of behavior.

What You Will Do:

Mines and analyzes large datasets utilizing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
Develops insights from historical loan performance data, identify swap-in opportunities to underwrite new customer populations, and develop credit solutions for customer base using various analytical techniques.
Developing and refining reports working with data analytics team, underwriting, and operations team.
Leverages custom score models for underwriting, pricing, and profitability.
Forecasts performance and track actual performance against lending target.
Collaborates with vendors, data science, and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately and as designed.
Creates/maintains Procedure and Program documentation.
Conducts other ad hoc analyses as required to support team goals.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
Typically, 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAS, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Python, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and SageMaker.

Salary range: $86,000 – $145,000

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
