A Snapshot of Your DaySiemens Energy is seeking a Vice President (f/m/d) Group Financing, Rating & Bank Relations (GFR&B) to lead the Group’s global funding strategy and manage key external financial stakeholder relationships. Reporting into the Head of Treasury & Corporate Finance, the role is responsible for safeguarding Siemens Energy’s financial flexibility through the development and execution of robust funding structures, disciplined capital market access, and active management of the Group’s debt profile.
The position encompasses responsibility for financing activities across the Group, including capital market and bank financing, support for M&A, and financing solutions for portfolio companies. In addition, the role steers the Group’s interactions with banks, rating agencies, and debt investors, ensuring alignment between Siemens Energy’s business strategy, capital structure, and external market positioning.
The Head of GFR&B also contributes to the broader finance agenda through debt investor relations activities, in close collaboration with Investor Relations and Sustainability, ensuring consistent and clear communication. Beyond funding and external stakeholder management, the role has responsibility for the governance of working capital management strategies and instruments, including supply chain finance structures, as well as for the Group’s support policy. The role acts as a central orchestrator across the finance organization (incl. FP&A, Investor Relations, M&A, Company Development, Accounting), and the business units, ensuring alignment and integration of all financing-related activities.
This is a pivotal leadership role within Siemens Energy’s finance organization. The Head of Group Financing, Rating & Bank Relations will play a central role in preserving the Group’s financial flexibility, strengthening its external financing position, and supporting the long-term development of its capital structure and funding strategy. This position plays a critical role in ensuring continued access to diversified and resilient sources of funding in support of the Group’s strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will combine strategic perspective, people leadership, technical excellence, and strong stakeholder management capabilities to lead an area of critical importance to Siemens Energy’s financial resilience and future success. Further, the candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with deep expertise in funding, capital markets, banking, and credit-related matters. S/he will combine strong Leadership & strategic judgment, commercial acumen, with analytical capabilities and the ability to engage credibly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
