As a Virtual Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and interactive online learning experiences for a leading plasma donation organization. Your expertise in the subject matter, combined with your passion for education and technology, will help shape the future of plasma center technical training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitatesynchronousandasynchronousvirtualinstruction,fosteringaninteractiveandengaginglearningenvironment.
• Utilizeavarietyofmultimediatools,platforms,andtechnologiesincludingmixedandextendedrealitytoenhancethelearningexperience.
• Tailoryourinstructionaldeliveryapproachtoaccommodatedifferentlearningstylesandabilitieswithinavirtualsetting.
• Provideclearexplanationsofcomplexconceptsandencouragelearnerparticipationandcriticalthinking.
• Facilitatediscussions,groupactivities,andprojectstopromotecollaborativelearningamonglearnersinvideo-streamedandvirtualrealityenvironments.
• Monitorandassesslearnerprogress,providingtimelyfeedbackandsupporttoaddressindividuallearningneeds.
• Maintainanonlinepresencethroughouttheinstructionalday,promptlyrespondingtolearnerinquiriesandconcernsviaemail,chat,andothercommunicationchannels.
• Staycurrentwithemergingtrendsandbestpracticesinvirtualinstructionandonlineeducation.

Qualifications

• 3-5yearsofbloodbankingexperienceinadonororpatientfacingroleandpost-secondarytrainingorequivalentworkexperienceinthefollowingareasMedicalscreening.
• Phlebotomy.
• Plasmapheresisorautomatedcollectiondeviceoperationandinstrumentation.
• Handlingofadversedonorreactions.
• Samplespecimencollectionandprocessing.
• Experiencewithvirtualoronlinelearning,showcasinganunderstandingofhowtofosterengagingandeffectivelearningenvironments.
• Astrongcommandofvirtualclassroomtechnologies,videoconferencingtools,andmultimediaresources.
• Moderateproficiencyintheuseof:
• Learningmanagementsystems(LMS)todocumenttraining.
• MicrosoftExceltocollectstructureddatausedbyvariousinformationmanagementsystems.
• MSWord,MSPowerPoint,MSOneNote,andMSSharePoint.
• Excellentcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal,withtheabilitytoconveycomplexideasclearlyandconcisely.
• Ademonstratedabilitytoadaptinstructionalstrategiesfordiverselearnersandcreateinclusivelearningexperiences.
