Position Summary

Workers Compensation Claims Examiner – NY Jurisdictional Experience Required. The role involves analyzing Lost‑Time Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due and ensuring adjudication within service expectations, industry best practices, and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through well‑developed action plans to achieve timely resolution.
• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and the client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to carrier requests in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to line of business preferred.
• Knowledge of NY jurisdiction; NY licensing preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Hybrid schedule possible for those within commutable distance to Syracuse, NY; remote if outside commutable distance.

Compensation

Pay range: $80,000 – $90,000 for this role. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
