App Developer – Restaurant Finder

Job Overview

This role involves developing a user-friendly application that enables users to discover restaurants in their area, view daily meal offerings and deals, and interact with restaurant profiles by posting photos and leaving ratings. The project is in the planning and research phase, offering the opportunity to shape the app’s architecture and user experience from the ground up. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely to define requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver a robust, scalable product with the potential for future enhancements.

Deliverables

• Design and develop a cross-platform app (iOS, Android, and web) for restaurant discovery and user engagement
• Implement features for restaurants to share daily menus, deals, and updates
• Enable user-generated content, including photo uploads, tagging, and ratings
• Develop a location-based search and filtering system for restaurants
• Integrate user authentication and profile management
• Ensure a clean, intuitive UI/UX based on provided examples and feedback
• Provide technical documentation and support for future updates

Requirements

• Proven experience in both web and mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks)
• Strong knowledge of backend development, APIs, and database integration
• Familiarity with location services and mapping APIs
• Experience with user authentication and secure data handling
• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable code
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate on project planning
• Availability for ongoing discussions and potential follow-up work
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
