The Business Analyst will be part of the Professional Services team, working to scope and deliver solutions to our existing and future customer base for all our software products, which include mobile computing and communication software, back-office software solutions, and hosted environments. The Business Analyst will be a product expert capable of leading the customer to leverage the best business practices in the industry.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Gain excellent understanding of the business issues, data challenges, and industry context.
  2. Be an expert in the use and configuration of the AMCS product within the industry.
  3. Collaborate with project teams and Product Managers to capture requirements and develop specifications for deployments and roadmaps.
  4. Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to customer solutions.
  5. Document functional and system design specifications for identified requirements and client engagements.
  6. Analyze client organizational processes against industry best practices, identify strengths and weaknesses, and suggest improvements.
  7. Work with client personnel to identify required changes and communicate these to the development team.
  8. Deliver high-quality services to clients consistently.
  9. Lead client meetings as a subject matter expert.
  10. Provide regular reports to managers, executives, and clients as needed.
  11. Participate in issue resolution internally and with clients or vendors.
  12. Engage in scoping and requirements gathering for projects.
  13. Maintain strong IT skills and understand customer requirements to facilitate project delivery.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • Customer-facing experience, including meetings, issue resolution, and action management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly learn ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge of software engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience delivering hosted ERP systems.
