Job Description

Civil Engineer Wind (w/m/d) – Our "Civil & Mechanical Engineering" Team is looking for YOU.

Responsibilities

• Create and review site engineering design for utility‑scale onshore wind projects (focus on civil & mechanical topics).
• Deliver designs and optimization in accordance with applicable codes, standards and industry practices.
• Conduct technical due diligence and site investigation including cost and quantity estimations.
• Perform structural analysis and foundation design for wind installations.
• Plan routes, roads, and crane pads.
• Define and oversee external engineering services and scope of technical contract.
• Be responsive to internal stakeholders and project requirements.
• Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in all areas.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or similar (advanced vocational qualifications and practical experience are considered).
• At least three years of relevant work experience in wind engineering (civil).
• Experience in foundation and crane pad design for wind turbines is preferred.
• Member of a German chamber of engineers is preferable.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD (other software helpful).
• Knowledge of Eurocode, IEC codes and industry practices.
• Creative and open‑minded with a good sense of humor.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of international work experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluency in English (other languages helpful).
