The nurse is responsible for patient preparation, assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. Also performs various diagnostic tests, administration of medications, and patient education in the clinic. Maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and all outside agencies, including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, and other physician's offices, as well as with the patient. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain patient flow and maintains accurate and complete documentation.
Current Arkansas nursing license. Degree from an accredited institution.
This job is authorized for 80 hours bi-weekly.
