Job Title: Control Technician

What awaits you?

1. Modify controls of assembly systems to enhance and sustain production activities, providing technical support for manufacturing operations.
2. Support current manufacturing systems and tools to align with BMW standards, ensuring effective and efficient operation.
3. Maintain and distribute technical data, overseeing the implementation of BMW standards within manufacturing areas and devices.
4. Upgrade and support manufacturing systems and tools to ensure compliance with BMW standards.
5. Communicate effectively with maintenance colleagues during facility failures to achieve process targets.
6. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to gather information on innovations and improvements.

What should you bring along?

• NVQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent, or excellent technological experience.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, with advanced experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with control systems, PLCs, field bus, robots, safety, drive/vision/measurement systems.
• Experience with electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of software engineering (e.g., Visual Basic, C, C#, C++, SQL, Java).
