With offices in Hamburg and Berlin, we're growing and looking for a passionate colleague to join our engineering team long-term. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be part of our client deployment team, responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of our solutions and supporting our clients. You will work closely with pre-sales engineering and product development teams to align on client needs and product requirements.

The role is based in Germany.

Tasks

What you’ll do:

1. Work in the Client Deployment Team to guarantee smooth delivery of solutions, including high-/low-level design, technical deployment, and integration of solutions.
2. Plan, prepare, and set up lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments.
3. Install and configure cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes.
4. Focus on automation—especially in technical deployment—to speed up processes.
5. Maintain, monitor, administer, and update current deployments to ensure stability.
6. Assist with incident management, second-level support, error analysis, and classification.
7. Coordinate customer requests and disseminate client information.
8. Identify operational efficiencies in deployment and support procedures.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

• Has 7–10 years of experience in the telecom industry, ideally in IMS, VoLTE, or core mobile network infrastructure roles.
• Has strong hands-on experience with Linux-based systems: installation, administration, and operations.
• Possesses a solid understanding of complex networking environments, including routing & switching, firewalls, load balancers, and traffic distribution techniques.
• Has in-depth knowledge of telecommunications systems, especially 4G (EPC), 5G Core, and IMS architecture.
• Has proven experience with Kubernetes administration and containerized telecom workloads.
• Possesses strong debugging and tracing skills, confident in using tools like Wireshark for analyzing signaling and network flows.
• Is familiar with virtualization and cloud computing concepts, particularly in cloud-native telecom deployments.
• Has working knowledge of telecom signaling protocols and standards, especially SIP, Diameter, and RTP.
• Has hands-on experience with public cloud providers such as AWS and GCP, preferably deploying or managing telecom workloads.
• Is fluent in English, both written and spoken, with effective communication skills across teams and customers.
