Role Description/Criteria Mercy College is a Catholic Secondary Girls’ College with a proud and rich history of education in the local Coburg area and surrounding suburbs. We are currently seeking a Director of Learning and Teaching for an ongoing full-time teaching position, with a two-year Position of Leadership appointment (POL 4), commencing January 2026. The Director of Learning and Teaching is a key strategic leader who will shape and strengthen the College’s learning culture. This position requires a visionary educator who can effectively monitor and analyse learning outcomes across individual students, specific cohorts and the College as a whole. The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep commitment to advancing girls’ education and to developing and implementing educational practices that empower and inspire students to achieve their full potential. Appointees are expected to show understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College.
