    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DLB Associates. We are currently looking for a Director Of Operations - Critical Infrastructure in United States.

    As the Director of Operations for mission-critical infrastructure, you will lead high-value projects across utilities, data centers, and advanced technology sectors while driving operational strategy and excellence. You will partner with executive leadership, technical managers, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize processes, manage large teams, and foster client relationships, all while guiding the organization toward long-term growth. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will influence innovation and help shape the future of critical infrastructure operations nationwide.

    Accountabilities:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with corporate growth objectives.
    • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of high-value infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
    • Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing operations team; manage workforce planning, recruitment, and succession strategies.
    • Serve as senior point of contact for client accounts and strategic partners; negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
    • Drive adoption of enterprise project management and ERP tools to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and innovative delivery methods to improve operational performance and expand market presence.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction management, MEP systems, building automation, or mission-critical infrastructure, including 5+ years in a senior operations or director-level role.
    • Proven record managing large-scale, high-value projects in critical infrastructure markets such as data centers, utilities, or advanced manufacturing.
    • Expertise in BAS, EPMS, ICT systems, and integrated technology solutions.
    • Strong skills in contract negotiation, financial management, operational improvement, and strategic planning.
    • Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exceptional leadership, team development, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% across the U.S. as required.
