Director Strategy & Partnerships – Vicoland
At Vicoland, we are redefining the professional services market with our cutting‑edge virtual companies, “Vicos.” Leveraging a proprietary AI‑driven SaaS platform, Vicos empower freelance experts to operate as fully‑fledged companies and win large enterprise projects for clients such as Mercedes‑Benz, Netflix, and the German Federal Government.
Since our launch 1.5 years ago, we have secured significant traction, won media accolades from Forbes and Forrester, and forged partnerships with leading procurement software providers like SAP. With a core team of 40 members across Europe and the US, headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, we are rapidly expanding both geographically and vertically.
Our offer to you
As Director of Strategy & Partnerships, you will work directly with the CEO to shape and execute our global strategy. You will be the key driver of partnership development, AI innovation, and new vertical exploration, positioning Vicoland as the industry’s preeminent partner‑ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of AI agents into the Vico platform, refining the business model to incorporate these capabilities.
- Launch and manage a program that enables top leaders from established professional services firms to create and operate their own Vicos.
- Expand our business‑development partnership network, targeting MSPs and other strategic allies.
- Identify, secure, and bootstrap partnerships that enhance our add‑on services in finance (insurance, factoring) and technology (license, SaaS).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design platform features that enable efficient partnership operations.
- Contribute to executive strategic planning, including market expansion and new business areas.
- Drive continuous innovation by proposing and implementing improvement ideas across the organization.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, legal, finance, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on technology and AI.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of learning quickly and tackling new challenges.
- University degree with excellent academic results.
- Proficient use of AI tools and keen interest in AI evolution.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong team spirit and aptitude for cross‑functional collaboration across tech, sales, service, and finance.
- Strategic judgment in evaluating partners and organizations for alignment with Vicoland’s goals.
- Excellent proficiency in German and English (DACH is the primary market, with expansion abroad).
