Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor. This role will focus on managing electrical aspects of data centre projects, ensuring efficient and timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and experience working on large-scale data centre projects. Key Responsibilities:

1. Head up the fitout of data halls within data centre projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
2. Manage subcontractors involved in electrical installations, including containment, mains, and cabling.
3. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
5. Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
6. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
7. Proactively identify and address project issues, risks, and challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
2. 4 to 5 years of experience in data centre construction, with a strong background in electrical fitouts.
3. Proven track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction projects.
4. Expertise in electrical containment, mains installation, and cabling within data centre environments.
5. Strong team-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Autonomous and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions confidently.
7. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
8. Fluency in German and English languages is preferred.
