The Europe Eco Solutions R&D Lab is looking to hire an Awhp R&D Engineer to join its new organization, based in Eschborn.

The Awhp Project Engineer is responsible for the technical planning, execution, and delivery of air‑to‑water heat pump projects for the EU market launch. This role requires close collaboration with HQ R&D and suppliers to ensure product compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements in target markets. The Project Engineer will act as the technical focal point for the Awhp new product launch and solve problems during the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• New Product Development
  • Verify new product development request with EU product planning team
  • Test interoperability and confirm integration with 3rd‑party devices and services
  • Evaluate a new product and its sequence of operation under development in a field test site
  • Troubleshoot a new product in the issue jobsites in EU region
• Competitor Analysis
  • Analyze and compare the new product and its sequence of operation with competitors
• Technical Transfer to Sales/Field/Service Technicians
  • Identify the root cause and find a resolution
  • Create the technical documents related to the new products or lineup for sales

Qualifications

• Academic background in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical, Air‑conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical/Electronics
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar product development role, preferably in the HVAC or heat‑pump industry
• Preferred with a professional license in HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) industry
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Fluent in English and German (knowledge of Korean is valued)
