Role Overview

A global renewable energy company is undergoing a significant digital transformation, including the rollout of Workday Finance and Procurement across multiple international entities.

As part of this initiative, the company is seeking a finance professional to join a collaborative international team of Workday experts. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with Workday modules, contribute to global process standardisation, and drive meaningful change across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of legacy finance data into Workday for selected entities, including guidance, data collection, transformation, and validation within project timelines.
• Develop expertise in core finance processes such as Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R) across various business segments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Workday teams to align on application‑wide topics and support testing and rollout activities.
• Provide Tier 3 functional support for finance within Workday, including enhancements and process improvements.
• Partner with internal departments to continuously optimise financial processes, controls, and policies.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (e.g., BA in Accounting or equivalent), ideally with IFRS experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong background in key finance areas including GL, AP, AR, financial closing, intercompany accounting, tax, and reporting.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to complex software systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to train and support stakeholders across cultures and levels.
• Experience with ERP implementations is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
