This VC‑backed startup has raised SEED close to $5M from two top‑tier investors to tackle one of the biggest untapped opportunities in tech: fully autonomous accounting.

Already live with paying customers, demand is growing faster than capacity, and accuracy matters now more than ever, so they’re hiring a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to take ownership of all heavy‑duty ML engineering & problems.

You’ll be working on closed‑source LLMs, to custom‑trained open‑source models tailored for financial workflows.

Think confidence calibration, LLM interpretability, and hallucination safeguards.

This is not a GPT wrapper. This is not writing prompts.

You’ll work directly with the CTO / Co‑Founder who has already got them this far.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of end‑to‑end ML engineering, from model training to hosting and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 3‑6 years of professional experience in Machine Learning (NLP)
• Proficiency in Python, especially for NLP tasks
• Experience owning ML models end‑to‑end (training, hosting, monitoring)
• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• Startup experience or entrepreneurial signals (open‑source, side projects, 0→1 building), thriving in ambiguity and seeking ownership
