Freelance Web Developer - Remote

Role Overview

This role is ideal for a web developer with a passion for building visually compelling ecommerce platforms. You will be responsible for creating a website for a new lifestyle brand based in Lisbon, with an initial focus on Chai products targeting both B2B and B2C customers across Europe. The website must reflect the brand’s unique aesthetic, support seamless online sales, and integrate essential third-party services. The business will operate primarily online, and a strong understanding of ecommerce best practices is essential.

Deliverables

• Design and develop a visually engaging website that aligns with the lifestyle brand’s identity
• Integrate Shopify for ecommerce functionality, including product listings, shopping cart, and secure checkout
• Set up third-party logistics (3PL) integrations for efficient order fulfillment and shipping
• Implement payment gateways suitable for European customers
• Ensure the site is optimized for both B2B and B2C sales channels
• Integrate analytics and tracking tools to monitor site performance and sales
• Provide guidance on maximizing online sales, including meta ads integration
• Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and user-friendly

Requirements

• Proven experience developing ecommerce websites, preferably with Shopify
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visually appealing and functional web designs
• Experience with third-party logistics and payment integrations
• Knowledge of meta ads and digital marketing best practices for ecommerce
• Ability to optimize websites for both B2B and B2C audiences
• Familiarity with analytics tools and conversion optimization
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Based in Lisbon or able to collaborate closely with a Lisbon-based team is highly preferred
• Passion for lifestyle brands and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
