Head of Accounting (all genders)

We are looking for a team member who wants to make the difference together with us. To strengthen our Accounting team in Neuss, we are looking for you for exciting challenges as Head of Accounting (all genders).

Your area of responsibility:

• Ensuring and developing a fully functional accounting and financial function in line with our growth strategy, including developing processes, systems, automation, reporting tools, internal control and organization
• Responsibility for accounting local statutory reporting requirements, budgeting, compliance with taxes / VAT, reporting to the headquarters in China and coordinating and ensuring efficient local audits based on the Group's internal timeline
• Supporting local management and the headquarters in all areas of reporting on business activities in subsidiary company including transactions, acquisitions, business cases, etc
• Supporting employees and managers in questions about finance, accounting, reporting, taxes and VAT
• The continuous development and optimization of internal control procedures and business processes
• The pro‑active departmental and cross‑functional collaboration with business partners, external financial service providers, including accountants, banks, insurers and other partners ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and major updates

That distinguishes you:

• University degree / MSc in finance, economics, business administration, accounting or similar
• Experienced financial manager with at least seven years of professional experience
• Familiar with both local and group reporting (especially IFRS)
• Experience in working with most or all of corporate accounting, reporting, tax and compliance processes, with a particular passion for financial reporting
• We expect experience with Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
• Experience in the B2C industry is preferred
• Business fluent in German and Chinese
