The Opportunity: Lead Our German Market Expansion
GERMAN SPEAKING ROLE At Nexi, we are shaping the future of digital payments in Europe. As Head of DACH Region for our Issuing business, you'll spearhead one of our most ambitious strategic initiatives: establishing Nexi as the dominant force in the German Payment as a Service (PaaS) market. This is a white-label card issuing platform that transforms how banks, fintechs, and corporates deliver payment experiences to their customers.

Your Mission: Build, Scale, Transform You will own the complete commercial strategy for DACH, with dual responsibility for nurturing our existing client relationships while aggressively expanding our market presence.
- Strategic Market Development
- Define and execute our go-to-market strategy for the German issuing landscape
- Identify and capture high-value opportunities across banks, neo-banks, fintechs, and corporate clients
- Build Nexi's brand recognition and market position as the premier PaaS provider
- Develop deep market intelligence to anticipate trends and competitive threats
- Revenue Leadership & Growth
- Drive aggressive revenue targets while building sustainable, profitable relationships
- Own the complete sales cycle while building scalable, repeatable processes
- Establish pricing strategies that reflect innovation value, not just market rates
- Create agile sales approaches that move faster than traditional competitors
- Team Building & Culture Creation
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing commercial team
- Establish the cultural DNA for our German operations—fast-moving, results-driven, customer-obsessed
- Foster an environment where calculated risks are rewarded and iteration drives perfection
What We're Looking For: A Proven Market Builder
- Essential Leadership Qualities
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You've built businesses, entered new markets, or launched innovative products from scratch
- Deep Industry Expertise: 10+ years in payments, banking, or fintech with specific knowledge of German financial regulations and market dynamics
- Change Leadership: You can influence senior decision-makers and drive adoption of new approaches
- Cultural Architect: You build winning teams that operate differently from traditional German corporate cultures
- Core Competencies
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales with complex, high-value enterprise deals (€1M+ transactions)
- Experience challenging established players with innovative solutions
- Proven track record of building new markets or transforming existing ones
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with intuitive market sense
- Native German speaker with excellent English communication skills
