Our client is a rapidly growing, VC-backed company in the wellness sector. They’ve developed a unique, membership-based massage studio concept — bringing a “gym-style” model to self-care.
As a Head of Finance, you will lead the next phase of their growth journey, overseeing strategic finance, FP&A, and the development of a high-performing finance team. In this role, you’ll act as a key partner to the founders, owning everything from market entry strategy and capital structure to forecasting, reporting, and managing external finance partners.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee core accounting and financial control processes
 
- Develop and manage financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for internal stakeholders and the board
 
- Drive strategic financial initiatives, including market expansion, legal entity structuring, leasing, and debt financing
 
- Shape the company’s capital strategy and translate growth plans into robust financial models and business scenarios
 
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, including hiring, mentoring, and developing junior talent
 
 
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in a finance leadership role, ideally within a high-growth or operationally complex environment
 
- Strong across both strategic finance (growth modeling, forecasting, investor reporting) and operational finance(accounting, controlling, financial systems and processes)
 
- Proven ability to build scalable financial infrastructure that supports long-term growth
 
- Comfortable working with banks, leasing partners, and external accounting providers
 
- Skilled in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and presenting insights to founders and board-level stakeholders
 
- Hands-on and proactive — confident working through detailed financial models as presenting insights at the leadership level
 
- Brings a builder’s mindset: eager to set up structures today that remain effective as the business grows
