Our client is a well-established manufacturing business operating within the consumer goods and FMCG sector, with strong growth ambitions and a complex international supply chain. They are now seeking a visionary Head of Procurement to lead an exciting transformation journey and redefine the function’s strategic role within the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy that delivers measurable value across cost, quality, sustainability and innovation.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation and supplier performance management to ensure operational excellence.
• Build a true strategic procurement department that acts as an integrated business partner across R&D, Operations, Engineering and Finance.
• Drive key initiatives in sustainability, supply chain resilience and digitalisation.
• Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Provide clear reporting and insight to senior management on procurement performance and strategic priorities.

Your Profile

• Proven track record in senior leadership procurement roles
• Demonstrated experience leading transformation projects and elevating procurement’s strategic value within an organisation.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Other languages a plus but not required).
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
