Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance, engagement, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Advise on employment law and implement individual personnel measures for the delegated employee community.
  • Collaborate on HR-related projects, representing the perspective of HR policies, practices, and employment law.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices, ensuring people initiatives align with business priorities.
  • Design and maintain a self‑service portal ensuring accessibility and scalability of HR resources.
  • Influence operational efficiency by introducing measures to reduce manual touchpoints, automate workflows, and enable managers and employees.
  • Partner with HR teams across Lufthansa Group to constantly improve and align best practices and HR standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Human Resources professional or HR Business Partner.
  • Extensive experience in employment law and practical application.
  • Strong communication skills for effective, open, and trustworthy interaction with teams and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile with a “doer” mentality.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Willingness to expand comfort zone and occasionally step outside it.
  • Very good command of English; German is a plus.
