Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Your position

In your new position as IT Infrastructure Engineer in the IT Operations division, you will be a key member of a global and collaborative team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient IT infrastructure. You will be working across both cloud and on-prem environments, with a strong focus on security and operational reliability. Your work will directly support Semco Maritime’s digital foundation and contribute to the safety and performance of our infrastructure systems.

Your place of work will be in Emden or Bremen, with regular coverage of sites in Hamburg, Emden, Bremen, Borkum, and other locations in northern Germany. The position is full-time.

Responsibilities

Implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions across servers, networks, storage, and virtualization
Managing the Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, and supporting user workspaces
Developing infrastructure documentation and architecture overviews
Applying and improving IT security measures to ensure compliance and resilience
Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities

Qualifications

Several years of experience in hybrid IT infrastructure management (on-prem and cloud)
Proven experience with server and network administration
Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
