Infrastructure Support Engineer

Discover International have partnered with a growing Medical Device company in Bavaria looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer. As an Infrastructure Support Engineer, your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain the company's IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with other IT professionals to support and optimize our servers, networks, and systems.




Key Responsibility:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and applications i.e. HP & Microsoft.
• Oversee network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard systems and data from risks.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly.
• Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with IT teams.



Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and network management tools.
• Professional Level English and German language.
