Position

Lecturer/Senior/Fellow Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology- Specialized in Applied Mathematics Ref2025/GBE/FET/F/SL/L01

Qualifications & Experience

1. Msc/PhD in Applied Mathematics
2. Must have at least 3 years of experience
3. Experience in teaching engineering mathematics modules
4. Experience in designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate curricula
5. Candidates with engineering backgrounds are an added advantage
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
7. Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to institutional development initiatives
8. Familiarity with digital tools for teaching, learning and research

Skills and Competencies

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching at university level; additional experience will be an added advantage
2. Ability to teach Engineering Mathematics modules
3. Excellent digital analytics skills
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English
6. Good Organizational skills
7. Ability to fully navigate online learning platforms
