Legal Counsel (Data Protection, AI Act, Data Act)

My client, a regulated e-commerce player, is looking for a Legal Counsel (2+ PQE) specialising in Data Protection . This role offers the chance to work on GDPR, the upcoming EU Data Act , AI Act , and other cutting‑edge compliance topics.

What you’ll do:

• Advise on data protection, privacy, and compliance across the business.
• Support sales teams on contracts and customer negotiations.
• Handle ad hoc legal matters as they arise.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, IT, and business teams to embed privacy‑by‑design .

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years PQE, qualified lawyer.
• Strong experience in data protection/privacy law , ideally in digital/regulated sectors.
• Commercially aware, pragmatic, and able to explain complex topics clearly.
• Familiarity with AI regulation a plus.
• Must be able to work in both English and German.
