M&A Senior Manager – Buy & Build – Business Services

Altus Partners have partnered with a private equity backed, pan-European, Buy & Build Business Services platform to find a M&A Senior Manager to accelerate their inorganic growth strategy across Europe. They are headquartered in Munich and are looking for an autonomous M&A professional with prior experience in a buy-and-build to play a key role in leading the execution of the full transaction cycle as the company continues to scale up, whilst having an active role in the commercial and operational aspects of the strategy.

THE ROLE:

Lead and conduct strategic acquisitions, implement group inorganic growth strategy and key strategic projects across Europe.
Develop and implement business plans and group strategy closely with the senior management team.
Assist on transactions end-to-end, from sourcing to closing, owning full scope of the process.
Work closely with the C‑Suite and Head of M&A to supplement the active pipeline and source new targets across the region.
Engage in direct contact with targets, build relationships and support pipelining efforts with the stakeholders.
Involve in operational tasks to ensure successful integration of acquisitions, offering hands‑on experience and full ownership of the transactions.
This role offers a large degree of autonomy with significant exposure to top management (C‑suite, board members, investors).

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Direct M&A experience from a buy‑and‑build platform or buy‑side.
Experience managing full transactions end‑to‑end, ideally across Europe or cross‑border.
Strong modelling and financial/accounting skills.
Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, resourceful problem solver.
Motivated, entrepreneurial and self‑driven nature.
Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
Fluent English required; a European language a plus but not necessary.
Location can be Munich, London or Paris, with monthly travel to Munich if Paris.
