YOUR TASK

  • Independent management of advisory projects for private equity investors in international transactions (focus: tech, software, IT services, industrial tech)
  • Development, management and implementation of commercial due diligence projects on the buy- and sell-side as well as comprehensive analyses of business models, competitive landscapes and market potentials
  • Structuring, presentation and validation of value enhancement and growth strategies for portfolio companies
  • Active advice and conception of buy & build and digitalization programmes; preparation and presentation of equity stories and value creation plans
  • Identification of new investment opportunities (e.g. through target screenings, sector strategies, market trends)
  • Preparation and presentation of results reports, workshops, client meetings and strategic pitch presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional leadership, coaching and development of consultants in day-to-day project work with both national and international teams
  • Participation in business development: support in acquisition, pitch preparation and the further development of our consulting services
  • Cross-functional collaboration with international teams and experts for technology, data and operations in the international private equity environment

YOUR PROFIL

  • Successfully completed master's degree/diploma in economics, finance or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in strategy or transaction consulting, corporate finance or in the private equity environment, ideally with a focus on commercial or growth strategy in the tech or software sector
  • Proven experience in independently managing projects and teams in a consulting environment (incl. budget and resource management)
  • Extensive knowledge in developing corporate strategies, business models and analysing M&A transactions
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong solution-orientation, coupled with strong entrepreneurial thinking and leadership experience
  • High motivation, initiative, team orientation and intercultural competence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
