Mixed-Signal Design Engineer – ADC / DAC

We are partnered with a fast‑growing deep‑tech semiconductor startup that is pushing the boundaries of data converter technology. They are looking for skilled Mixed‑Signal Design Engineers with hands‑on experience in ADC and DAC design, behavioral modeling, and full silicon development.

This is an opportunity to work on next‑generation high‑performance converter IPs for communications, sensor interfaces, signal processing, and SoC integration, using advanced CMOS processes such as 22FDX and FinFET/FD‑SOI. Mid‑level (3–5 years) and senior‑level (6+ years) engineers who thrive in technical, collaborative environments are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of ADC and DAC IP from specification, architecture, and design through silicon validation.
• Develop and optimize high‑precision analog/mixed‑signal circuits, including TIAs, op‑amps, filters, switched‑cap circuits, band‑gaps, LDOs, and bias generators.
• Build behavioral models and perform architecture‑level trade‑off analysis.
• Collaborate closely with layout engineers to ensure matching, parasitic‑aware design, and successful tapeouts.
• Support silicon bring‑up, lab validation, and first‑silicon debugging.
• Document design and verification results and contribute to IP integration into SoC products.

Ideal Experience

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience in mixed‑signal IC design, particularly ADCs and DACs.
• Expert in analog fundamentals: noise, matching, linearity, and stability.
• Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and behavioral modeling (Verilog‑A, SystemVerilog‑AMS).
• Experience with full‑custom analog layout and verification.
• Familiarity with advanced CMOS nodes and SoC integration.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
