GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt operates one of the leading particle accelerators for science. Currently, the new FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) one of the world\'s largest research projects, is being built in international cooperation. For the department Linac (LIN) we are looking for a Physicist or Engineer (all genders) – Reference: – to participate in development of the superconducting linear accelerator HELIAC (HElmholtz LInear ACcelerator). Currently at GSI the first cryogenic module of HELIAC is in test operation, further two cryogenic modules are in manufacturing phase.
