Growing in Germany
Our German Business has grown substantially over the past year, with many new team members joining us in our Frankfurt office. Our teams are executing exciting and important projects for our clients, leading to great opportunities to develop your career.
We are currently recruiting 3D Piping Design Engineers to work on detailed design of process and utility systems for multiple projects, with experience in Piping and Equipment design of multidiscipline projects using SP3D and CADWorx for Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical plants.
Our clients are multinational pharmaceutical, Food and Data Centre (Mission Critical) companies.
Our default 3D design system is based on Intergraph's S3D suite of products.
This is a hands on technical role that will assist the Frankfurt office to reach its next level of growth.
Responsibilities
Your day to day role would involve but not limited to the following activities:

  • Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc.
  • Produce and check complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic 3D models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures.
  • 3D Piping Design
  • Isometric generation from Process P&ID's.
  • Stress Analysis.
  • Clash checking for pipe clashes.
  • Coordination of design with other design disciplines and vendors.
Qualifications
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fluent German and English Languages.
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ piping design experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the use of Intergraph’s S3D & CADWorx suite of products
  • Biopharmaceutical or API design experience will be an advantage
  • Design experience with clients from Germany is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
