Summary
The Project Engineering Manager (PEM) oversees engineering activities to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery. The PEM is integral to planning and managing engineering processes and acts as a liaison among project functions.

Responsibilities

Consolidate provisional drawing lists and integrate submission dates.
Manage global schedules for engineering activities and verify coherence of links across project functions.
Anticipate and mitigate delivery issues, managing the engineering schedule efficiently.
Lead and coordinate design teams, overseeing budget management and workload planning.
Contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews and organize disciplinary reviews.
Participate in the elaboration of project strategies and manage scope or design changes.
Analyze customer technical requirements and ensure compliance through effective communication and documentation.
Track and manage project documentation and customer feedback effectively.
Prepare and review technical specifications to facilitate the procurement process.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in project management, particularly in engineering contexts.
Strong understanding of engineering processes and project lifecycle.
Proficiency in managing technical documents and change processes.
Ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication skills to manage customer relationships and technical queries.

Nice to Have

Experience with HV substations and electrical balance of plant projects.
Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in engineering design.
Knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations.
