Regional Commissioning Engineer

Job Description SUMMARY As a Regional Commissioning Engineer, you must supervise thermal project commissioning, special on-site tests, system troubleshooting and repairs, and provide a high level of technical support at locations in Germany or in DACH region as needed. This is a field service position that offers you a high degree of independence. KEY DUTIES Proactive participation in planning meetings to gain a holistic overview of current needs and support the planning team in optimizing productivityConducting special system tests, including SAT, IST, and customer acceptance tests when required. Compilation of technical reports and procedures related to special test activitiesCollaboration with local Service Delivery Organization for on-site visits in cases of serious problems and/or commercial significanceCapturing field results and transmitting all possible inputs for product and quality improvement to the factory. Using the official Techsupport tool called "Tracker" (or equivalent)Contributing to preliminary and final root cause analysis reports for critical events or major customers. Independent management of the RCAR process for local or minor eventsSupporting field service in applying correct technical service procedures and toolsUsing field-collected information to prepare and distribute technical service informationManaging all activities in compliance with ITC regulations and environmental requirements Role And Responsibilities Remote participation in solving on-site cases, with direct involvement only in certain approved casesParticipation in construction site meetings when requiredReview of construction site environment for suitable Vertiv storage locationsCompletion of all related documentsRegular status reporting on equipmentSupport and involvement in FAT and local technician introductionFamiliarization with Vertiv manufactured productsWorking in accordance with company HSE policyPromoting company image on-siteIdentifying sales opportunitiesProfessional response to support requestsSupporting new product review processBeing a main user of new Thermal architecture Qualifications And Experience Higher education in Thermal systemsUniversity degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline5+ years in thermal industry or similarMinimum 2 years field service experience in thermal industryClean driving license WORKING CONDITIONS Customer interaction at all levelsRequires composed but assertive attitudeSelf-motivated and results-oriented personalityStrong communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsUnderstanding of company policiesHigh commitment required for field service positionsOverseas and EMEA travel may be requiredFlexible working hours essentialComputer literacy requiredEnsure compliance with ITC certification program Note: The above duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and requirements of the position and are not an exhaustive list.
