Project business is the heart of our company, and as a project accountant, you provide guidance and support for our commercial project community. From order intake to execution and revenue recognition, you are the trusted business partner, reliable service provider, and contact person. Project Accounting is more than numbers; it is being part of successfully executing projects. How You’ll Make An Impact

• Responsibility for the periodic financial statements related to project business within Siemens Energy in line with IFRS and local GAAP
• Act as a reliable business partner for all project-related inquiries, provide guidance for complex business models, and perform reconciliations of construction projects
• Evaluate and assess new orders and contract arrangements from an accounting perspective
• Serve as a contact person for auditors and tax authorities, acting as the interface to the business
• Support management in decision-making and in evaluating complex business transactions
• Support the development and implementation of a new ERP system, focusing on accounting matters related to project business

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field
• Proven professional experience in General Ledger Accounting
• Experience with SAP, preferably end-to-end understanding of project accounting processes in ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI, CO)
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards
• Motivation to work in an evolving and dedicated team, with an open and communicative personality
• Fluent in English and German
