Your tasks

• Assuming the tasks of a safety specialist in accordance with §6 ASiG
• Supporting and advising the plant management in view of the requirements for the IMS (occupational health and safety, environment, plant safety) in accordance with applicable standards and legal regulations
• Supporting managers in complying with the rules and advising on occupational health and safety regulations
• Carrying out and moderating risk assessments, operating instructions and incident analyses
• Carrying out and documenting safety inspections
• Coordination and, if necessary, independent preparation, updating and further development of IMS documents and records
• Strategic further development, continuous review and evaluation of the IMS and corresponding KPIs in coordination with the individual functions
• Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits, including their planning and evaluation
• Managing the process for identifying legal and other requirements, including updating the legal register for the site
• Supporting HSE activities, e.g. “Health & Safety Day” to further develop the safety culture at the site

Your profile

• Completed university degree in natural sciences or engineering, ideally with a focus on safety technology
• Training as an occupational safety specialist with industry‑specific specialization in the chemical environment
• Additional training as an auditor for ISO 14001 / 45001 desirable
• Several years of professional experience in the field of occupational safety, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and standards
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Organizational, cooperation and teamwork skills
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• A high degree of flexibility and reliability
