The Cluster of Excellence 3099 'GreenRobust' investigates the robustness mechanisms of various plant species at all levels of biological organisation in response to biotic and climatic disturbances. Within the cluster, various research teams from the Universities of Tübingen, Hohenheim and Heidelberg will collaborate.
A central component of the Excellence Cluster is a joint experiment to be conducted in the Phytotechnikum at the University of Hohenheim, the 'Plant Perturbation Atlas'. In this experiment, nine different plant species will be exposed to various temperature regimes, drought stress, heat, and combinations of these stress factors. The plants will be sampled at different time points for cellular, molecular, physiological, and ecological analyses and will also undergo non-invasive phenotyping.
In this context, the University of Hohenheim is seeking to fill the following full‑time position, limited to the duration of the cluster (until December 31, 2032), starting January 1, 2026.
The University of Hohenheim is committed to equal opportunities and diversity. We expressly encourage qualified women to apply. Persons with disabilities will be given preferential consideration in cases of equal suitability.
The position is in principle divisible (part‑time possible). Remuneration will be according to TV‑L.
We look forward to receiving your application, including the usual documents (CV, certificates, motivation letter, etc.), as a single PDF file by November 7th, 2025, via e‑mail to ‑hohenheim.de. For further information on this position, please contact Prof. Waltraud Schulze (e‑mail: ‑hohenheim.de).
