Security Presales Architect-Microsoft Consulting Services

This role is a high-impact presales position focused on Microsoft security and compliance solutions. The Security Presales Architect will partner with prospective clients to design and demonstrate enterprise-grade deployments, aligning technology with business needs. The role involves developing tailored solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and related systems to improve security posture. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a consultative approach to drive client confidence and sales success. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, enjoys creating presentations and proposals, and is motivated by helping organizations optimize their Microsoft security investments.

Accountabilities

• Lead presales engagements to design, configure, and demonstrate Microsoft 365 and Azure security solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Collaborate with potential client teams to create budgetary estimates, statements of work, and implementation plans covering discovery, deployment, and support phases.
• Provide technical expertise across business units, ensuring holistic presales approaches that integrate security concepts in cross-practice engagements.
• Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and documentation to effectively communicate solution designs and value.
• Engage with internal teams and clients to gather information, share insights, and improve security processes and methodology.
• Contribute to the development of external presentation and marketing materials to support practice growth.

Requirements

• Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
• CISSP and/or CISM certification.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Information Protection, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and other Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience with presales activities, including contract creation, discovery, design, piloting, and deployment scenarios.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to create professional documentation and materials.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities, with confidence in delivering complex technical concepts.
• Experience working across internal teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Familiarity with Security Operations (SecOps), DLP, eDiscovery, compliance management, or competitive security tools (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Crowdstrike, Okta, PingFederate) is a plus.
