Senior Boomi Integration Engineer

Overview

Boomi Integration Engineer sought by DEPT to bring strong issue resolution and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have solid knowledge of the Boomi platform, be flexible in learning new tools, and work closely with the Integration architect on internal and client projects to manage the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are optimized and scalable. Excellent communication and customer service practices are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand high-level expectations for new features & projects from the Integration architect and plan how to achieve them.
• Demonstrate knowledge about event-driven systems, schema, orchestration, mapping, and exception handling.
• Engage in Service Delivery concerning design, development, testing, and release to production.
• Collaborate with project teams to define integration strategies for their projects.
• Manage the development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio.
• Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Communicate project status to various levels of management.
• Oversee the technology and standards for version control.
• Utilise analytical abilities and negotiation skills.

What We Are Looking For

• 7 years of overall experience with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Boomi
• Experience working with hybrid architecture
• Good experience with other SaaS-based business applications is a plus (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Commerce Tools, ADP, BambooHR etc.)
• Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting in Boomi
• Hands-on experience in working with JMS Queues
• Ability to align business requirements with the capabilities of the Boomi platform
• Experience in mapping, creating, and transforming XML, CSV, flat file, and data schemas for different systems
• Record of strong advancement and achievement
• Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative team setting
• Ambition and a can-do attitude
• Creative problem solver who can think beyond the status quo
• Working proficiency in English
