Senior Business Analyst – Commodities Trading | Munich | Hybrid (1–2 days/week in office)

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst , you’ll be key to delivering transformation projects across commodities trading systems and processes.

Write and refine User Stories , map business processes , and design fit-for-purpose solutions
Work closely with traders, developers, and stakeholders to define and deliver requirements
Support migrations from legacy to modern trading systems
Shape testing and risk frameworks to ensure high-quality outcomes
Deliver actionable insights and reporting solutions that add measurable business value

What You’ll Bring

5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager within commodities trading
In-depth understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle
Experience in commodities such as Oil & Gas or Energy/Power
German
Consultancy background in financial or capital markets
Hands‑on experience with software and trading platforms, including but not limited to:
Allegro
Orchestrade
Murex
Findur
Endur
Based in Munich (client office locations in the surrounding region)
Hybrid model – usually 1–2 days per week in the office (client dependent)
