    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Dentsu Media. We are currently looking for a Senior Content Strategist in Maryland.

    This role offers the opportunity to lead content strategy for complex digital products and websites, shaping audience-first experiences that align with business objectives. You will work closely with UX, product, and design teams to integrate content seamlessly across customer journeys, while driving scalable content practices and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, balancing creativity and analytical thinking to optimize user engagement. This position also provides a chance to influence practice growth, develop tools, and share strategic insights across teams. You will lead large-scale website projects, support B2B clients, and help define the future of digital content strategy.

    Accountabilities

    • Develop and implement content strategies aligned with client goals, brand positioning, and user needs across digital products and websites.
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, developers, and strategists to ensure content enhances overall digital experiences.
    • Lead or contribute to large-scale website migrations and consolidations, integrating multiple sites into unified digital platforms.
    • Create deliverables such as audits, matrices, journey maps, sitemaps, migration plans, and content models within CMS platforms.
    • Conduct user research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform content decisions and improve usability and performance.
    • Design scalable content governance models, workflows, taxonomies, tagging strategies, and metadata structures.
    • Advocate for content as a core component of the product design lifecycle, from discovery to iteration.
    • Support practice growth by developing tools, templates, and best practices for content strategy.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in strategic content roles, preferably in product and website strategy.
    • Experience leading or contributing to large-scale website migrations and multi-brand consolidations.
    • Expertise in developing content strategies for diverse audiences within a single digital experience.
    • Background in B2B content strategy, ideally for high-tech or financial services clients.
    • Proficiency with CMS platforms, analytics tools, and design software; experience with content modeling and governance.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to translate user needs into actionable content strategies.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
    • Experience documenting best practices, frameworks, and strategic tools to advance content practices.
