Senior Engineer – Bid Support / Estimation

Enerparc Energy Private Limited is a full‑time global expert in developing, engineering, building, and operating ground‑mount and roof‑mount photovoltaic (PV) systems. As an EPC contractor, we have connected over 4500 MW of solar systems to electricity grids and operate more than 600 discrete solar projects with an installed capacity of over 3000 MW.

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka. Reports to: Lead – Bid Support. Type: Permanent – On‑roll.

Job Purpose: Conduct detailed on‑site surveys, prepare detailed BOM, PV layout, SLD, PV system simulation, vendor interactions, and optimum cost estimation. Candidates with detailed engineering experience will be highly preferred.

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of solar PV products and system design.
• Electrical system design, CAD, and system performance.
• Knowledge of civil and mechanical aspects, regulatory standards, and market trends such as energy storage (BESS) and hybrid renewables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of responsibility for bid estimation and proposal during business development for ground/roof mounted solar systems.
• Perform detailed conceptual design, PV simulation (PV System Tool), CAD‑based PV layouts, shadow analysis (Sketch‑Up), and bill of materials estimation.
• Interact with vendors for optimum cost estimation and prepare tender documents in coordination with the BD team.
• Obtain necessary inputs from internal standards/BD team/external customers and attend customer meetings as required.
• Prepare and submit required documents on time as per tender/BD requirements.
• Manage own time, initiate actions, and participate strongly in business development.
• Adapt to different cultures and new projects with flexibility.

Minimum Technical Expertise & Tools

• Hands‑on experience with PV simulation software such as PVSyst, PV Sol, etc.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Sketch‑Up, Solar Labs, Virto CAD, Helioscope, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Comprehensive understanding of solar system design, site survey, state‑wise solar policy, and civil/structural elements.

Communication & Soft Skills

• Excellent written and spoken English and Hindi.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
• Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail; proactive and initiative‑driven.

Education & Experience

BE in Electrical Engineering. 3‑5 years of solar work experience in design and engineering (particularly 2 years of bid estimation experience).
