Responsibilities

• Independent responsibility for the accounting of a subsidiary within the group and active involvement in intercompany reconciliations
• Independent execution of monthly closings including all relevant postings and account reconciliations (e.g., fixed assets, receivables, payables)
• Participation in annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and preparation of audits
• Support and accounting responsibility for a smaller company within the group
• Intercompany reconciliations and support with group consolidation topics
• Active participation in the implementation of NetSuite (data migration, testing, process optimization)
• Close collaboration with the Team Lead DACH and support in daily operational business

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English language skills in spoken and written form
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, ideally also in an international environment
• Completed commercial training or studies with a focus on accounting
• Extensive knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally interest in active participation in NetSuite
• Hands-on mentality and strong team spirit
• Nice to have: knowledge of accounts payable
