Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Service Engineer to join our after-sales service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for SANY's port machinery products, including telescopic handlers and material handlers. This role is based in Bedburg, Germany , and requires fluency in both German and English .

Key Responsibilities

Perform commissioning, maintenance, and repair work on telescopic handlers, material handlers, and other heavy port equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and internal teams via on-site visits, phone, or email.
Prepare service reports, documentation, and feedback for continuous product improvement.
Train customers and partners in equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the engineering and product support teams to enhance service quality and product reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all service activities.

Requirements

Technical degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering.
Proven experience in servicing heavy machinery, preferably in the construction or port equipment sector.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally within Europe.
Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license.
